This alternator is found mainly on Chevy HHR with 2.2, 2.4L engines. This is a 130 amp which is standard for these vehicles. These units are characterized by the black plastic cover with the oblong holes as shown in the pics, and a 2 pin plug in. This is a common design for Valeo alternators. It is used by many other GM cars. The plastic rear cover is held on by socket head screws. Also there are plastic clips on the sides that can be easily pried apart (away) with a screwdriver. (We show you in the video) You almost NEVER experience trouble with the diodes. This alternator looks complex but is actually one of the EASIEST kits we offer!
Kit includes: front and back bearings. Brush holder voltage regulator ass’y.
